Kristy joined Cake4Kids in 2022 as a volunteer for the DC chapter. She always enjoyed baking, but began investing more time and effort into honing cupcake and cake decorating skills during the COVID-19 pandemic.  After learning about the organization, she reached out to see if she could help the organization beyond just baking and took the opportunity to lead the DC Chapter.  Kristy is originally from Sacramento, CA but currently lives in DC and works for the Federal government. In addition to baking, she enjoys hiking with her dog, Davis, in her free time.
