Tell us a little bit about yourself!

The public library is one of my favorite places -- I remember signing up for my first library card at 5 or 6 years old. The counter was so tall, I had a hard time reaching it! I had that first library card into my 20s, terribly printed signature and all.

What is the first thing you ever baked?

Does microwaving a cake count? I remember “baking” cakes from a box mix in the microwave, during the summers I spent with my grandparents as a child. It was always the perfect afternoon treat

What’s your favorite thing to bake?

Brownies. I’ve never met one I didn’t like, and they are so easy! Plus you can get creative with variations, or stick with a classic recipe.
