Tell Us A Little Bit About Yourself!
My name is Swahili and it means “Baby with Chubby Cheeks”. I am a big foodie. I love trying international foods and making new recipes. I enjoy DIY projects and turning ordinary objects into something unique, especially during the holidays. Anytime is a good time for a celebration!
What’s your favorite thing to bake?
My favorite thing to bake is Five Flavor Pound Cake. It reminds me of Sunday suppers at my Grandma’s house — it tastes like a hug from the inside!
Why did you want to start Cake4Kids in your area?
When I learned more about the awesome Cake4Kids mission, I wanted to combine my love of baking with my passion for helping kids in my community. It is an honor to bring some joy to a child who deserves to be recognized and celebrated on their special day. It is such a blessing to be a part of the Cake4Kids family!
