Tell us a little bit about yourself!
I’m a semi-retired sales executive with a love for public speaking and training. You can usually find me on the road (or in the sky!) about 20 weeks a year—but home is wherever my blended family is. I have two teenagers who keep life moving fast with baseball and volleyball, plus two awesome adult stepkids. I love baking, cooking or eating good food (I’m a cook, too!), and anything that involves laughter. I’m happiest around my friends and family, throwing a party, or traveling to fun and interesting places around the world. And I might be a little obsessed with TV game shows (I’ve been a contestant on Wheel of Fortune and Let’s Make a Deal).

What or who inspired your love of baking?
My love of baking started when my kids were little—I was a busy corporate executive who never slowed down.  I’ve always found baking to be relaxing and rewarding. There’s something special about taking simple ingredients and turning them into something joyful, delicious and beautiful. Over the years, baking became my creative outlet and my way of showing love.
