Unique Facts: Boulder was called the “Happiest City in the U.S.” by National Geographic. And bicycling is so highly regarded in Boulder that sometimes the city plows the Boulder Creek bike path before they plow the streets!

About

Amy Klein, Cake4Kids Ambassador for Northern Colorado

Ambassador Bio Photo_Amy Klein.jpg

What is your favorite thing to bake?

I love baking French pastries. This year I have been taking classes online from a pastry chef in Versailles and have been working on perfecting my macrons, mousse, and mille-feuille.

What is your life motto?

Small things done with great love will change the world.
-Mother Teresa

Why did you want to start a Cake4Kids in your area?

I heard about Cake4Kids from a friend of mine who lives in California. I thought it sounded like such an amazing charity. When I heard “Delivering smiles one birthday cake at a time” I knew I wanted to be a part of this non-profit. The reception from agencies and bakers in my area has been incredible. I am so grateful to be a part of Cake4kids!
