Amy learned about Cake4Kids and was passionate that a chapter would be a great fit in her home state of Colorado. Amy launched the chapter in Boulder, CO in 2000 and served as the Ambassador for nearly five years. She loves Cake4Kids and saw first hand the positive impact the organization has on so many lives. She transitioned from the Ambassador role to a board position in 2025.

Prior to focusing on volunteering, Amy was a corporate banker at PNC Bank. She earned her Bachelor of Science from Virginia Tech and her MBA from Baylor University. Amy and her husband John have three children and reside in Niwot, CO. Amy is also on the board of Boulder Symphony. When she is not volunteering, Amy enjoys traveling, reading and Pilates.
